Big, dangerous or awkward — we take trees down safely and cleanly, with the right machine for the job and the site left tidy.
We remove trees of every size across Gippsland and the Latrobe Valley — from a single backyard gum to a paddock full of storm-damaged timber. How we do it depends on the tree and the access: a straightforward job is climbed and dismantled; a big or dangerous one gets one of our elevated work platforms so the work is done from a stable basket, not off a rope in the canopy.
The thing that most changes a tree-removal quote is access — how close we can get the truck, the chipper and the machinery to the tree. Good front access is quick; a tree at the back of a block with a narrow side gate, or one hard over the house or the power lines, takes longer and needs more gear.
We are a real crew with our own machines and our own workshop, so we turn up with what the job actually needs and leave the site cleaner than we found it. Wood can be chipped for mulch, cut for firewood, or taken away — your call.

As a rough guide, a straightforward removal of a small-to-medium tree with good access starts around $1,100–$1,200 plus GST; a larger tree in the 12–17 metre range with good access is more like $2,000–$2,500 plus GST; and a big 19-metre-plus tree with tight access and heavy chipping can run $4,000–$5,000 plus GST. Those all assume we can get the gear reasonably close — tight access, a crane pick over a house, or grinding the stump as well will move the number. The quote is free and we work it out on site.

Tight access, work over a house or grinding the stump as well will change it.
Can you remove a tree near the house or power lines?+
Yes — that is everyday work for us. Trees over a house or close to live power lines are dismantled in sections, and where it helps we use one of our insulated elevated work platforms so the work is done safely from a basket.
Do you grind the stump too?+
We can grind the stump as part of the same visit, which usually works out better than bringing a machine back later. Just ask when we quote.
What happens to the wood and the mess?+
Whatever you like — chipped for mulch, cut for firewood, or taken away. The site is always left clean.
