We run a range of excavators from 2.6 tonne up to 14 tonne, plus attachments, for site preparation, batters, trenching, rock work and general earthworks across Gippsland. The fleet is road-registered, so it gets itself to site.
Excavation can be hourly or quoted. Private customers often want a fixed quote to protect a budget; contractors often prefer hourly, because excavation has a habit of turning up surprises once you are in the ground.
What it costs
Hourly rates run by machine size: a 2.6-tonne excavator around $120–$130 plus GST per hour, a 6-tonne around $135–$145 plus GST per hour, and a 14-tonne around $150–$170 plus GST per hour, with attachments moving the larger machines. Prefer a fixed price? Tell us the job and we will quote it.
