Once a tree is gone the stump is still in the way — and the roots keep it there. We grind stumps out below ground level so you can turf, pave or plant over the top. We run machines for open ground and smaller machines for tight access, so a stump behind a narrow gate or in a courtyard is not a problem.
We price on the time and the access, not a formula. Open ground with an easy run at the stump is quick; a concrete ring around it, a raised garden bed, or a stump the machine has to be walked a long way to all add to it.

As a rough guide on open ground with easy access: a small stump around 15 cm is about $60 plus GST; a 30 cm stump is roughly $100–$150 plus GST; and a big half-metre-to-a-metre stump is $400–$500-plus plus GST. Access is what moves it — we quote on the day, free.

Usually yes — we have smaller machines that fit through a standard gateway and into courtyards, so tight-access stumps most machines cannot reach are still grindable.

Yes, and doing it in the same visit usually works out better than bringing a machine back later. Ask us when we quote the removal.
